Please do not complete unless you have been asked to by one of our practitioners.
As part of our organisation we are regularly required to feedback to others about the work that the MHSTs do. This can involve a number of different people including commissioners, other services, researchers, schools and sometimes other places we are asked to speak to about the work the team does. We often produce graphs to say things like how many referrals we received, how many sessions we offer and the interventions that we do. Whilst this is important, what people really want to know is what the people who use our service think of it. We also produce leaflets, videos, social media posts and other publications about our service and often people want to hear from the people who have used the service and what they thought.
At the end of your work with the team your practitioner may ask you if you would be willing to share your experience that we can then use for communications. This may be a summary of the work you did with your practitioner and the journey you went on. You and your practitioner will agree what this summary says. We will also ask you to complete a questionnaire to give us feedback about your experience with us, in your words.
This form will tell us what you are happy for us to share and what you are not happy for us to share.
Any information you do agree to share will be anonymised. This means it will not include your name or your school and that you will not be able to be identified based on the information provided.

Congratulations on completing your intervention with a Thought-Full Practitioner.
We are currently taking feedback from parents/carers and young people about closing letters.
Each child, young person, parent/carer receives a closing letter following their support from a Thought-Full Practitioner. Copies may also be sent to your school and GP. These letters contain your journey of support from the moment you were referred to, and when you finished with, Thought-Full. It contains information about how you can support yourself, or how others can support you, if you find it difficult in the future.
Having read your letter, we would like to know your thoughts about it? We don't want to know your name and all the information is anonymous. All your answers will remain confidential and any information used will be anonymised.

Following the recent training with Allsorts, several people have suggested we provide pronoun badges for those who wish to wear them. There is no expectation for anyone to do this but it was raised in the training that wearing a pronoun badge helps normalise the non-assumption of pronouns, and encourages diversity and inclusivity.
So that we don’t make presumptions, please if you would like one/s tell us (anonymously) which you would like so we can order them for the away day. You can choose more than one.

Allsorts are offering a unique opportunity for Thought-Full and School Staff to take a deeper dive into key subjects related to supporting our LGBT+ Students (and parents and staff). These two-hour online sessions will be your chance to ask questions and explore in much more depth the nuanced situations and cases you face in your schools regarding LGBT+ people. The sessions will be a much more open Q&A and exploration of case studies rather than content-based training.
This is your chance to anonymously ask the questions you always wanted to ask, raise the concerns you have or have heard from others about LGBT+ students, and get down into the details of more complex issues and cases.
There will be three sessions available, each covering a different subject area. We highly recommend that you attend all three sessions.
A. Trans, non-binary, and gender-exploring - a closer look
Examples of areas we can cover:
- Information about supporting young people who are exploring their gender identity
- More in-depth understanding of the gender identity spectrum and terminology
- The intersections between autism and gender identity
B. Dealing with anti-LGBT+ bullying, incidents, and attitudes
Examples of areas we can cover:
- Working with families who are not accepting/supportive (inc. cultural and religious factors)
- Specific guidance for dealing with anti-LGBT+ bullying, incidents, and attitudes from school staff, students, parents/carers, and the wider community
- Navigating government guidance and legalities
C. Creating more inclusive schools for LGBT+ students
Examples of areas we can cover:
- Examples and sharing of best practices around student support, learning and curriculum, policies and guidance, culture and ethos, and the school environment
- How to set up an LGBT+ Group at school
- More in-depth understanding of the sexual orientation spectrum (e.g. pansexual)

The purpose of this survey is to understand whether a Reflective Tool for Special Schools is wanted or needed.
The current tool, used by mainstream schools, is designed to be completed by the Senior Mental Health lead. This tool is designed to help and support you with your whole school approach to emotional wellbeing and mental health. It looks at each of the eight principles of a whole school approach and asks questions about each area. By completing the questions you should be able to identify what's working well with your whole school approach and any areas you would like to develop.
