External Review of Governance - a pre-session document to inform your GB Self review
Please indicate for each statement your individual response regarding the governing board’s effectiveness on a scale from 1-5 (with 5 being most effective). If you are unable to score please leave blank. Please use the ‘how do you know?’ column to evidence your score.
Your individual responses will remain anonymous, but all responses will be collated, and the overall findings shared with the whole governing board to inform the supported self-review session.

Privacy statement
The Governor Services Team will use this survey to collect some personal data where processing is necessary in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller. The data will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations, the 2018 Data Protection Act and any subsequent legislation.
The data we collect will be held securely on West Sussex County Council computers for a period of up to 6 months before being appropriately destroyed. West Sussex County Council is registered as Data Controller (Reg. No. Z6413427).
