West Sussex Sexual Health Strategic Framework 2026-2031 Consultation
Overview
Please tell us your views about the draft West Sussex Sexual Health Strategic Framework 2026-2031. This sets out the five priorities to improve sexual and reproductive health and wellbeing and reducing inequalities across the county.
We want West Sussex to be a place where everyone can enjoy good sexual and reproductive health, make informed choices, and access high-quality, inclusive services when they need them throughout their life.
Everyone in West Sussex, including young people (16+), professionals, and local organisations, are invited to take part and have their say.
The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. The survey will close on Sunday 18 October, 11.55pm.
The framework draws on evidence from the West Sussex Sexual Health Needs Assessment 2025 (opens in a new window) which includes perspectives from residents, communities, and professionals.

We want your views on the following five priority areas of the framework. In the draft document you will see more details about these. It explains where we want to be by 2031 and how we propose to get there.
- Reduce sexually transmitted infections through prevention, testing, and prompt treatment.
- Work towards ending new HIV transmissions, increasing testing, and reducing late diagnosis.
- Improve awareness of contraceptive choices and access to reproductive healthcare.
- Promote healthy relationships, consent, and positive sexual wellbeing.
- Address inequalities and improve access for underserved communities.

How we will use the information (data) you give us
We will process this data in accordance with the 2018 Data Protection Act, General Data Protection Regulations and any subsequent relevant legislation. West Sussex County Council is registered as a Data Controller (Reg. No. Z6413427). The data you provide will not be used for any purpose other than that stated and will be stored electronically for a period of up to 1 year before being appropriately destroyed.
