A glossary is a list of words which helps you to understand what words mean.
Consent: Saying yes to something because you want to and you understand what is happening.
Contraception: Something you use to stop getting pregnant. Things like condoms, medication, medical procedures, or other ways to stop getting pregnant.
HIV: A virus that attacks the body’s immune system, making it harder to get better when you are unwell.
Organisations: A group of people who work together to do something or help others.
Reproductive health: How you look after parts of your body involved in having babies, relationships, and sexual health.
Sexually transmitted infections (STIs): An infection that can be passed from one person to another during sexual contact.
Stigma: When people are treated unfairly or judged because of something about them, such as a health condition. Stigmas can make people feel upset, embarrassed, or excluded.
Strategy/Framework: A plan to achieve something.
