Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment Public Survey 2025
Introduction
We would like your views on pharmaceutical services in West Sussex, services from your high street pharmacy, online or mail order, dispensing GPs* and appliance contractors which supply items such as stoma bags, incontinence products, wound dressings, compression garments, and other medical aids.
Taking part in this short survey helps us to understand how local people use these services.
Your feedback helps the local health system to identify any gaps in services and to plan for the future, so these services can continue to be developed to best meet local people’s needs.
What you tell us will inform the West Sussex Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA), which is a statutory report produced by the West Sussex Health and Wellbeing Board (HWB) and is used by NHS England, local authorities, and local NHS systems, to help deliver and plan pharmaceutical services across the county.
There are no right or wrong answer to the questions. You can change your mind or stop at any point, although we will only be able to use completed surveys in the final report.
The survey is anonymous, and we will ensure that you will not be able to be identified from any of the answers you give. The survey will take approximately five minutes to complete.
Thank you very much for taking part in this survey.
*Dispensing GPs are those doctors who can dispense medicines for patients who live remotely from a community pharmacy.
