We’re looking to create a small online discussion forum to help us test how AI technology can be used with our existing customer experience functions. Participants will test the AI by asking questions which will be used to teach the technology how different residents and customers may interact with it.

AI technology will allow us to modernise our customer experience offer, and provide a self-service model available 24/7. Traditional routes of communication (phone and email) will remain available for those that need them, but AI will give more choice for those seeking quick answers anytime and from anywhere.

Who are we looking for?

To form this forum we need volunteers who come from a whole range of our communities in West Sussex to help us to test the technology with us to ensure it meets our high standards for customer service.

In order to create forums that are as representative as the communities we serve we have designed a short survey to find out more about you. The answers of these questions will then be used to select a group of individuals to form our online discussion forums.

It’s really important for us to design this new system with our residents and customers so that we can ensure they work for you.

Please note that you must be 15 years or over to take part in the discussion groups.

Take part by completing the short survey at the bottom of the page, applicants will then be selected and contacted.

Your commitment

Applicants that are selected will be contacted and given more information about the next steps of testing the AI.

Throughout the next 12 months we will be engaging with our forum to test different parts of the AI technology for different services.

These forums will be run virtually with no need to meet physically. You will be able to participate in your own time and you can commit for as long as you like.

Please note: We are looking for West Sussex residents, customers and staff to take part in the focus groups.
