Labels stick is an awareness campaign by the Care Leaver Advisory Board (CLAB) . The campaign is about highlighting the impact of how using negative language and words about young people in care and care leavers gives ‘labels’ and how this can affect their self-esteem, confidence and mental health. We hope as a result of this campaign that everyone will use more positive words and language - labels stick and can have long term effects on the person.
