A review of Bromcom to inform a collaborative paper for Schools’ Forum in November 2024 is now under way. This is being conducted in four parts:
A review of the MIS module will be conducted by Education and Skills, and this survey is the main engagement tool for school-based staff.
School Finance will be running their review in partnership with school Business Leaders through their representatives in each locality. A prequestionnaire was shared through Top Tips in June to inform face to face discussions, and their contribution to the review.
An internal review of the platform benefits and future opportunities will be conducted by officers at the Council.
The Oracle team will be consulted to ensure that all recommendations consider the implications of the SAP replacement taking place in 2025/ 2026.
The review outcomes and recommendations will be shared with schools as the customer of Bromcom, and we will work with our existing partner throughout.
The recommendations will be consulted on through our governance, internally at the Council, via consultative Committees, School Leader Executives and Locality Business Leader networks.
Further information including the background of the partnership with Bromcom can be found under FAQs.
