This conference, delivered in partnership with the West Sussex County Council Community Safety Team, will focus on a wide range of safeguarding issues that impact our learners including digital safety, fraud, domestic abuse, and extremism.
Throughout the day, we will discuss the importance of early and appropriate intervention to protect learners from harm. We will also examine local and emerging risks, alongside the support and resources available to address them.
This event is primarily aimed at curriculum delivery staff and will bring together colleagues from across the West Sussex Adult Learning Service, as well as our extensive network of commissioned Adult Skills, Community Learning Grants, and Skills Bootcamp delivery partners.

Location: Main Conference Room, County Hall North (Parkside), Chart Way, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 1XH
County Hall North is a short walk from Horsham train station, the nearest car parks are Piries Place and Swan Walk.
Tea, coffee and lunch will be provided (please inform us of any allergies/dietary requirements when you RSVP).
