17.00 - 18.00 Reception and afternoon tea refreshments
A chance to meet with learners, educators and the Adult Learning Service team. To view examples of learners' work and hear the stories of the outcomes achieved because of lifelong learning opportunities provided through the Adult Learning Team.
The opportunity to celebrate learning, meet our nominees and delivery partners, learn more about the extensive work the Adult Learning Service does with our most vulnerable residents, making most of the funding received from the Department for Education (DfE) and the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).
18.30 - 20.30 The Awards Ceremony
A unique event celebrating the progress, ambition, courage and enjoyment of learning across the County, as recognised by peers, tutors and providers.
(Due to limited numbers in The Chambers, this will be an invite only event.)
Who can be nominated?
- Any learner who has attended learning events provided by Adult Learning either directly or through a learning organisation.
- Any tutor who has provided learning support through Adult Learning either directly or through a learning provider.
- Any learning organisation that has delivered learning opportunities funded by Adult Learning.
