Hello

This is a short  survey to gauge student opinions around there Well-being and mental health. We think it should take around 5 minutes to complete.

Who we are and our aims:

The Mental Health and Well-being Campaign is part of West Sussex County Council Youth Cabinet. We are interested in  promoting positive Well-being and raising awareness of what mental health is, as well as the importance of looking after it, something we know is fundamental in our society.

  • We aim to encourage open conversation surrounding Well-being, striving to eliminate any remaining stigma surrounding the topic. We aspire to give practical and achievable advice to young people in West Sussex on how to support their Well-being, drawing upon advice from experts, other young including people, and teachers.
  • We aim to signpost young people to existing support systems and charities, for example Childline.
  • To achieve this, we will raise awareness through a series of social media skits, as well as informative podcasts and videos, which can be shared to young people around West Sussex through various means.
  • We will also further provide material such as posters on the topic of healthy Well-being and support systems to be displayed in Schools and other public areas to reach those who may not have access to social media or the Internet.

Through these methods our campaign hopes to help more young people, maintain a healthy balance and do our part to help curb the increasing epidemic of poor mental health amongst young people.

Please note this survey is anonymous. Although we will read each statement we will not be able to react to immediate safeguarding concerns.
