We need your comments, opinions and suggestions.

We also need your photographs of buses going about their business in the county, to share on the #WestSussBus page.

Please send your pics to: westsussbus@westsussex.gov.uk

What's it like to be a bus passenger in West Sussex in 2022? Help us create a comprehensive picture. TOP TIP - become a regular 'bus journal' contributor (either post your journal on this site - or send it directly to us at westsussbus@westsussex.gov.uk)

What is #WestSussBus for?

We'd like to develop an ongoing dialogue with passengers, and later this year, we'll be establishing a Bus User & Stakeholder Forum and will be searching for a representative from the community of bus users.

We've created a space for your own written, video or image based comments on local buses. Click here to create your very own 'bus journal'. Or just send in a nice video or a few pictures.

Remember, you don't need to write at all - you can submit your journal in images or videos if you prefer. Or add them to your written entry.

Post as regularly as you like.

If you have any questions about #WestSussBus - please contact us at westsussbus@westsussex.gov.uk

You can make your entry as long or short as you like and include the details you feel are relevant. Overheard speech is very useful (but not snooping into personal conversations!)

A few ideas...

How about the things that are associated with bus travel. Not just the journey itself, for example:

  • Waiting at the bus stop - are your surroundings well looked after? Do you feel safe?
  • What are the bus stops like? Are they in good condition, well placed, have the right facilities?
  • Could your local bus stop be improved.
  • What facilities does a modern bus stop need?

Feel free to think creatively...

We'd like to gather your ideas - reasonable, realistic and slightly more visionary - and see what can be done, now, soon and into the future.

We'll be running #WestSussBus for at least the next year, so there's plenty of time.

You can also tweet using #WestSussBus and we'll gather your comments - describe your observations and experiences, as they happen...

Don't miss the bus! Take part in #WestSussBus today.

Current 'hot topic':

How has the way you travel by bus changed since Covid? Is the change permanent or temporary?
