Introduction

Reports of sextortion have been increasing in West Sussex with data telling us that 14 to17 year-olds are more likely to become the victim of this type of crime. Although this fraud can target anyone, 96% of the victims are currently male.

Before continuing to read this page we would like you to watch the following short video below called What is sextortion.

Why are you asking me for help?

We want to raise awareness and engage with young people directly about what sextortion is and what to do if you are affected by it. To do this we would like to get your thoughts, opinions and experiences on the subject to help us create an awareness raising campaign aimed at young people on what sextortion is, what you can do to avoid it and what to do if it happens to you.

What are we asking?

We would like you to take part in the short survey below which will take no longer than five minutes to complete.

If there are any questions that you do not feel comfortable answering, you can simply leave these blank and move on to the next question. All your responses will be anonymous and if at any point you decide that you no longer wish to continue the survey you can simply close the page, and nothing will be saved.

We really value your feedback, and so by taking part in this survey you can be in with a chance to win one of five £20 Love2shop vouchers. If you choose to enter this prize draw, please remember that there will be no association with your answers provided in the survey. Terms and conditions apply.
