Following on from the funding received as part of Schools in Financial Difficulty (SiFD).

Schools in Financial Difficulty (SiFD) is a pooled budget to support WSCC maintained schools who find themselves in financial difficulty as a result of a change in and/or challenging circumstances. The funding is delegated by Schools Forum. A summary of the number of bids supported, how the funding has been used and the overall effectiveness of the fund is submitted to Schools Forum annually.

As a school who has received funds through this board, you have agreed to undertake the feedback requirement for your bid. To support you in doing this please could you undertake the survey (link below) to advise on the impact you have observed as a result of the funding provided to your school in financial year 2023/24. WSCC reserves the right to reclaim any funds awarded if feedback is not provided.



Data Protection


Schools Finance are using this survey to collect some personal data (e.g. name) in order to carry out a task in the public interest. The data will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations, the 2018 Data Protection Act and any subsequent legislation. The data we collect will be held securely on West Sussex County Council computers for a period of up to (12 months ) before being appropriately destroyed. West Sussex County Council is registered as Data Controller (Reg. No. Z6413427).
