In West Sussex, £3.077m has been allocated for council-managed schools and £2.988m for voluntary aided schools and academies. Schools’ individual allocation will be disbursed in line with Devolved Formula Capital Grant (DFCG) rules.
This short survey aims to capture:
Schools’ current plans to invest their funding allocation.
The support they need to help them deliver successful energy efficiency projects.
The County Council can provide advice and guidance on managing energy projects, offer procurement support to help schools collaborate and get the best value from the market and, potentially, attract additional capital to increase project scope and impact.
All schools are encouraged to respond to the survey regardless of whether they currently have a firm plan in place to invest this additional funding. A summary of responses will be shared with all schools that take part.
If you have any questions about this survey or the energy support available to schools from the County Council, please email energy.management@westsussex.gov.uk
