Your Routine Periodic Medical is Overdue

As you may already be aware, your periodic medical is overdue. You should have received an appointment for your RPM with Health Partners, and it is essential that you attend.

In order to ensure that you are being supported with any health issues in the interim, please complete the brief questionnaire.

Your answers will assist us to determine if you require any support measures whilst you wait for your appointment. If you answer ‘yes’ to any of the questions, we will arrange to for you to have a meeting with your station manager who may carry out an individual risk assessment.

Please ensure that you complete the questionnaire by Tuesday 18 April 2023

In line with your role within in West Sussex Fire & rescue Service, all operational employees are required to undertake a Routine Periodic Medical (RPM) every 3 years. In addition to testing to determine your fitness for work, the RPM also comprises of Asbestos Surveillance, as required for all Operational Staff as a result of potential exposure to asbestos, by Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.

If you have any concerns or if there are any changes to your health that you believe might impact your work, please contact your GP and speak to your line manager as a matter of urgency.
