    Did you know, UKHarvest operate Community Food Hubs in West Sussex to fight food waste and provide access to affordable food. West Sussex County Council is working with UKHarvest to pilot new Community Food Hubs at Bognor Regis, Crawley and Southwick. Learn more about Food Rescue on our website and at UKHarvest.

    Very concerned about the huge amount of house building in West Sussex. This will not help the climate agenda at all as it will take away valuable landscapes which help with carbon collection and provide a habitat for nature. Plus all the extra people mean more roads and therefore pollution, and inevitably more infrastructure building. It is a never ending cycle - reducing population growth is part of the answer.

    Hi what are you doing to save energy as it gets colder?

    when I am working from home, I just heat the room I work in using a plu in electric radiator? At the moment the electricity it is using is matched by the electricity coming off my PV panels so carbon-free and free money wise too!

    I'd love for it to be a lot easier for communities to work together to establish community-owned electricity generation.   Currently there are significant constraints that make it all but impossible to get such schemes off the ground.   What could the council be doing to make it easier for such schemes to be viable?
