Climate action
by Petunia, over 2 years agoShare Climate action on Facebook Share Climate action on Twitter Share Climate action on Linkedin Email Climate action linkVery concerned about the huge amount of house building in West Sussex. This will not help the climate agenda at all as it will take away valuable landscapes which help with carbon collection and provide a habitat for nature. Plus all the extra people mean more roads and therefore pollution, and inevitably more infrastructure building. It is a never ending cycle - reducing population growth is part of the answer.

Saving energy as weather gets chillier
by AndreaSmithCDC, over 2 years agoShare Saving energy as weather gets chillier on Facebook Share Saving energy as weather gets chillier on Twitter Share Saving energy as weather gets chillier on Linkedin Email Saving energy as weather gets chillier linkHi what are you doing to save energy as it gets colder?
when I am working from home, I just heat the room I work in using a plu in electric radiator? At the moment the electricity it is using is matched by the electricity coming off my PV panels so carbon-free and free money wise too!

Community Owned Renewable Electricity Generation
by AdrianBallArdingly, about 2 years agoShare Community Owned Renewable Electricity Generation on Facebook Share Community Owned Renewable Electricity Generation on Twitter Share Community Owned Renewable Electricity Generation on Linkedin Email Community Owned Renewable Electricity Generation linkI'd love for it to be a lot easier for communities to work together to establish community-owned electricity generation. Currently there are significant constraints that make it all but impossible to get such schemes off the ground. What could the council be doing to make it easier for such schemes to be viable?
