Referral Pathway for Schools
Hello and welcome to the new EHWB referral pathways for school’s engagement page. Recently we have been developing resources and tools to support this self-harm offer to schools available to schools in September 2020 and to ensure a holistic approach to supporting children and young people who engage in or are at risk of engaging in self-harming behaviour.
One of the supporting tools is a referral pathway flow chart that provides the designated leads in each schools an overview of how and who to make an appropriate referral to when working with a student who has been identified as needing external support for their emotional health and wellbeing.
We are currently scoping what the emotional health and wellbeing referral pathway for schools looks like locally in West Sussex. It would be extremely beneficial to us for you to engage in the available surveys and polls so we can capture your views on the current EHWB referral pathway.
