What information would help you to recycle more?
As part of our mission to help cut the confusion of recycling we’re running another survey to gather information on what you would like to know and we’d love you to take part. Last year we asked similar questions and got great feedback from residents, which has helped to shape our work over the last 12 months. Whether you took part in our last survey or not, we’d love to hear from you this year! The survey will run from 1st - 30th June 2024.

Following the Think Before You Throw survey in June 2023, we released a new communications campaign under the same name. This was designed to answer many of the questions that were raised in the survey, and to clear up confusion over which materials can be recycled, what happens to them, and how to dispose of materials that can’t be collected at the kerbside. This campaign will run until spring 2024, and we will re-run the survey in the summer of 2024 to assess the impact and see how we can further help residents. We also shared anonymised results with our partners in the district and borough councils, so that they can also use these to communicate better with their residents, and make sure that they are answering the questions you may have.
