Project Background

West Sussex County Council (WSCC) are working in partnership with Lancing Parish Council and the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust (WWCT) to develop designs for the next phase of improvements to the new cycle track along Lancing Beach Green.

Previous works within the western portion of the green have been completed, providing a new 3m wide cycle path and separate space for cyclists and pedestrians. This second phase would look to extend this cycle track along to the eastern edge of the green, improving accessibility and safety along this popular route.
