Growing Families Service - Feedback
You have received this link because you have been in contact with, or have received services from CGL family workers, as part of the Growing Families service. The service aims to support pregnant people, their partners and new parents/carers who drink alcohol, to improve their wellbeing and their baby’s development.
About the Growing Families Service:
The CGL Growing Families service offers flexible and tailored support to pregnant people, new parents/carers and/or their partners to address alcohol use and its potential negative effects. CGL family workers work with families to provide support such as:
- One to one appointments
- Brief assessment and screening
- Harm reduction, advice and information
- Joint working with other agencies
- Group sessions
This service is being trialled in West Sussex and evaluated locally by West Sussex County Council. This service is being funded by Public Health England as part of a national program to improve the outcomes of children particularly where alcohol use has been identified.
This is a new service for expecting and new parents/carers, and we would like to know about your experiences of using it. Your feedback will help tell us how the service is doing in achieving its aims and how it can be improved.
