Farm to fork

We would love for you and your foster child to come and join us at our Farm to Fork event , run by the Prept Foundation at Plumpton college (opens in new window). This will be a fun, hands-on day where your young person will participate in an interactive cooking session, led by a professional chef in a MasterChef-style training kitchen. They will prepare a main course and dessert which they will later get to eat and enjoy!
They will also have the opportunity to tour a working farm to gain an insight into the journey food takes before reaching our plates. Throughout the day there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and discuss possible future career pathways in hospitality and farming.
The event will take place on Thursday 5th November from 10am – 2pm. This is a school day but due to the educational nature of the day, the young persons' attendance record will not be affected.
You will need to transport your young person to Plumpton college (map opens in new window) and accompany them during the day.
