West Sussex Economic Strategy - Draft January 2025

Introduction

As part of the transfer of Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) functions to local authorities in 2024, West Sussex County Council has been working with partners to develop an Economic Strategy for the county. A draft Economic Strategy and a supporting Evidence Report and a draft Action Plan have been produced.

We are now inviting feedback from key partners, stakeholders, business, and business representatives through the survey below.

The draft Strategy built upon the Economic Collaboration (opens in new window) work we conducted jointly with partners throughout 2023 and 2024. It has been reviewed by the new West Sussex Economic Growth Board and we are now launching engagement.

The draft Strategy, Evidence Report and draft Action Plan are available to download from the side panel of this page.

Following analysis of the feedback, we will amend the strategy documentation. The West Sussex Economic Growth Board will be invited to endorse the Strategy and Action Plan in February 2025. The Strategy will be adopted by West Sussex County Council in March 2025.
