WSCC appreciate your patience and cooperation as work progresses on the Manor Royal project. Currently, construction activities are being carried out with minimal carriageway incursions, ensuring that traffic flow remains unaffected.

Week 1 Summary

Establishing site compounds and trial hole investigations to pinpoint the exact locations of statutory services have been the contractors' main priorities this week. These works are essential to facilitate upcoming service diversions, enabling the construction of the new bus lane.

Look Ahead – Week 2 (Section 3)

• Traffic Management Implementation: A designated running lane will be introduced to allow construction plant and dumpers to operate within the working area, reducing the need for vehicular movements on verges.
• Gas Main Diversion Works: Trenching activities will commence in collaboration with SGN to facilitate the diversion of existing gas infrastructure.
• Bus Lane Excavation: Earthworks will begin for the new bus lane within Section 3.
