Week 22 Update

Week 22 Summary

This week, the contractors have been focused around all sections. Temporary lights remain in place. The bus stop (Manor Royal West) is now reopened. Construction of the widening, kerbs and drainage have all taken place. General tidying and topsoil around the site.

Look Ahead – Week 23

Road Closure Update: Overnight road closure from 14 to 26 July 2025 between 8 pm – 6 am. Works will be consisting of planning out the existing carriageway surface, carrying out repairs to the concrete slab below and installing a new, smooth tarmac surface. Diversion route will be signed on site. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Dayworks

• The road will be reopened, bus stops operating as normal.
• Traffic management will be altered on a daily basis depending on carriageway repairs that will need to be carried out.
• Repairs of the concrete carriageway will be continuing, Topsoiling the verges, installing new signage and starting to demobilise the site.
