Week 18 Update

Week 18 Summary

This week, the contractors have been focused mainly within sections 2. Temporary lights remain in place. The bus stop (Manor Royal West) remains closed. Base and binder course have been laid and works at gate 1 with diversions of utilities underway.

Look Ahead – Week 19 (Section 2)

Traffic Management Implementation: A designated running lane will remain in place to allow construction plant and dumpers to operate within the working area, reducing the need for vehicular movements on verges. Bus lane suspension of the bus lane up to Faraday Road to simplify traffic flow. Temporary lights will remain in place.
Section 2: Works around gate 1 continue with the lowering of utilities. The hardstanding of the bus stop and pedestrian crossing taking place with the shelter being placed back on the 20th June. Which will allow the stop to re-open.
Section 2 Bus Stop: The bus stop is now closed. The next closest stop will be at Faraday Rd. (Manor Royal Central)
Pedestrian Access: The pedestrian crossing within Section 3 and 2 will remain closed. However, alternative crossing points will remain fully operational.
