Week 17 Summary

This week, the contractors have been focused mainly within sections 2. Temporary lights remain in place. The bus stop (Manor Royal West) is now closed, Kerb installation, type 1, drainage, and traffic signal works continue.

Look Ahead – Week 18 (Section 2)

Traffic Management Implementation: A designated running lane will remain in place to allow construction plant and dumpers to operate within the working area, reducing the need for vehicular movements on verges. Bus lane suspension of the bus lane up to Faraday Road to simplify traffic flow. Temporary lights will remain in place.
Section 2: Works around gate 1 continue with the lowering of utilities. Base and binder courses laid through 80% of section 2. Footway works around the bus stop will continue.
Section 2 Bus Stop: The bus stop is now closed. The next closest stop will be at Faraday Rd. (Manor Royal Central)
Pedestrian Access: The pedestrian crossing within Section 3 and 2 will remain closed. However, alternative crossing points to the East and West will remain fully operational.
