Week 11 Update

Week 11 Summary

This week, the contractors have been focused mainly within section 3. Temporary lights remain in place and are running well. Carriageway construction has been continuing with new kerbs being installed. Openreach have been on site and continue their diversions.

Carriageway construction has been continuing with new kerbs being installed at Manor Royal, Crawley Look Ahead – Week 12 (Section 3)

• Traffic Management Implementation: A designated running lane will remain in place to allow construction plant and dumpers to operate within the working area, reducing the need for vehicular movements on verges. Bus lane suspension of the bus lane up to Faraday road to simplify traffic flow. Temporary lights will remain in place.
• Bus lane Construction: Type1 regulating preparing for tarmac base and binder courses.
• Section 2: Enabling works upto the bus stop will start.
• Pedestrian Access: The pedestrian crossing within Section 3 will remain closed however, alternative crossing points to the East and West will remain fully operational.
