How we look after your information (Privacy Rules)
When you fill in this survey, West Sussex County Council and local councils will look at your answers.
What we collect: We will ask for a few facts about you, like your age and if you are a boy or a girl. We need this to make sure we are listening to all different kinds of young people.
Keeping it safe: We will follow the law to keep your answers safe on a computer. We will keep them for 1 year, and then we will delete them forever.
Sharing the results: We will mix your answers with everyone else's answers to make a big report. We will share this report with the other local councils so they can fix their climate plans.
Your secrets are safe: Where you have provided it, we will remove information about you before we share anything. No one reading the report will ever know which answers were yours.
If you or your parents want to read the full, official rules about how we protect data, you can look at our Privacy Policy (opens in new window) for more details.
