We are ambitious for all children and young people in West Sussex. We want them to have the best start in life and to fulfil their potential.

Every local authority is legally required to create and publish a Children and Young People’s Plan (CYPP), explaining how we will work with our partners to give each child and young person in West Sussex the best start in life and the support they need to succeed and achieve their potential.

Our current Children and Young People plan went live in early 2022 and runs until the end of 2025. We will be updating our current plan for 2026 to 2029 and want to consult with children and young people, members of the public and professionals to help shape the refreshed plan.

The current Children and Young People plan for 2022 – 2025 is linked here for your information: Children and Young People Plan 2022-2025 (opens in new window).
