    Under section 14B of the Children Act 2004, the local safeguarding children partnership (LSCP) can require a school or college to supply information so that the LSCP can perform its quality assurance function. 

    This safeguarding self-assessment is to be completed in conjunction with the guidance document that was attached to the email you received with the link to this survey.  Please ensure that you have read the guidance document.

    This self-assessment is still an internal process and we recommend that an external review of safeguarding is commissioned every three years - please contact safeguarding.education@westsussex.gov.uk to discuss and arrange.
