Adults Commissioning Workforce
Welcome to the Information page for the Adults Commissioning Review
In the context of major reform in adult social care and in the NHS, the changes that are taking place give us an opportunity to reflect on our current arrangements, and to agree what works well, and what can be improved to ensure that we have a commissioning function that’s fit for purpose to meet current demands and future challenges and opportunities.
This will be key to enabling the delivery of the Adults Strategy and other key improvement plans across the adults and health directorate and the wider County Council.
We want to make sure that everyone has an opportunity to be involved in this work, and we will be holding a series of workshops with all staff in adults commissioning to make sure that your views are heard and taken into account as we think about the changes that will be needed moving forward.
We understand that whilst change can be exciting, it can also be unsettling and I want to ensure that everyone feels supported through this process. Please do access our employee assistance programme if you wish.
Telephone - support is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year via the freephone number 0800 028 0199. You will only need to confirm the organisation is West Sussex County Council and the directorate you report to.
