Introduction

This is a survey in support of the Working at Height Regulations 2005. All maintained schools and voluntary controlled schools are required to complete the survey as fully as possible.

The survey will help us understand how the county council’s arrangements for working at height are being achieved throughout the school estate. As part of the survey, you will be asked about the work at height activities that take place in your school and how these activities are planned, managed and monitored.

Please note that this is not intended to be an audit of the arrangements in individual schools, if you have concerns about your working at height arrangements after completing this survey, please contact the WSCC Health and Safety Helpdesk to discuss: healthandsafety@westsussex.gov.uk
