This survey is designed for the whole of the Public Health workforce within Sussex. This survey will help to;
identify and celebrate areas of strengths both individually and whole service
feed in to opportunities for professional development
provide an opportunity for you to reflect on your own skills, knowledge and confidence to discuss with your line manager
provide a valuable tool to map the workforce skills
shape the way training is delivered
There are no right or wrong answers so please complete the survey as accurately as possible reflecting your current thoughts.
We do recognise that this is a self assessment of your skills and knowledge; and appreciate that;

Knowledge and skills can be gained through training, experience or a combination of both.
Some skills are useful for several people to have, whereas other skills are only required by a few.
Your perception of your confidence and level of skill may change over time.
Results will be anonymised but you will be sent your individual results by email once you complete the survey and it is anticipated that you will discuss your results with your line manager at your next appraisal/review.
The name and email address will be deleted when the survey closes. This is captured so that we can ensure staff have completed the survey.
The Workforce Development Lead will have access to the information and is working on behalf of East Sussex, Brighton and Hove and West Sussex Public Health Teams.
