School Streets - A car-free or low traffic street outside our schools where pedestrians and cyclists can move safely.

23/24 School Street Trial - Authorised Vehicle Register

Introduction

As a resident you have a right to access your property within the ‘school street’ during the restricted times of the trial. In order to monitor compliance with the timed restriction we need to be able to identify residents from unauthorised vehicles.

For the purpose of the trial, this information will be held securely for the duration of the trial and will only be used in cases of enforcement of the 'school street' trial area. On conclusion of the trial, if the ‘school street’ is made permanent then residents will be informed of the process to formally register their details, and records linked to the trial will be deleted.

This form is used for; Obtaining access for residents, Removing an existing vehicle,  Temporary access for visitors and other access types. Please follow the online process, you will not need to register vehicle details if attendance to the property is outside of the restriction timings.

Arundel CE Primary School: 8 am to 9 am and 3 pm to 4 pm.

Thomas A Becket Junior School: 8 am to 9 am and 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm.

Swiss Gardens Primary School: 8 am to 9 am and 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm.

If you change your vehicle during the trial period, just register your new vehicle and follow the online instructions to remove the original vehicle.

For the duration of the trial we ask that residents work with us to avoid any unnecessary vehicle movements within the restriction times. Where possible please arrange for any deliveries to be made outside of the restriction timings to avoid conflict or confusion with unauthorised users.
