Overview
West Sussex County Council is responsible for the local School Nursing service.
The county council is running this survey to gather the experiences of schools and colleges who may have used the School Nursing service (this does not include the Special School Nursing service, which is organised separately).
Your views are important to us and will help shape these services in the future.
The School Nursing service includes school nurses, staff nurses and nursery nurses. They may work directly with your school/college and/or with a child or family, and this could be at school/college, over the phone or video call, or in the child’s home.
The survey is for a member of school/college staff to complete and will take approximately 10 minutes. Please only submit one response per school.
The survey asks for information about the characteristics of your school/college. This is so that we can understand how different schools have accessed the School Nursing service and compare the experiences of schools/colleges with similar characteristics. For the purposes of reporting, all responses will be anonymised to ensure no response is attributable to any individual school.
The results of these surveys will be published on the West Sussex County Council Your Voice website in Summer 2025. If you would like to be notified when these become available, please contact Tasha Alderton using the details below.
