Introduction

Our suite of individualised yet structured reviews provide external validation to your self-assessment, supportively review process and principles, identify barriers and priorities: to ensure that all children and young people, in all educational settings, achieve the ‘very best start in life’: in direct alignment with the West Sussex vision for our children and young people.

The reviews are a traded service offered by the Safeguarding in Education team.

Safeguarding Support Visits

These visits are offered by the Safeguarding in Education team and are a supportive visit to schools. These look at four main areas of safeguarding. They focus on offering support on Record Keeping, Single Central Register, Pupil Voice and Staff Voice, although can be tailored to each school depending on areas that need support. These are offered to schools as part of a support package and based on PRV conversations with an Education Advisor.
