Provider Safeguarding Questionnaire (September 2026 onwards)

Our Board has been reviewing safeguarding reporting within residential care and nursing homes, and from domiciliary care providers in West Sussex.

We are specifically looking to understand reporting of safeguarding concerns by providers, to seek assurance for the Board on local practice, and investigate the ways in which we may be able to offer support, advice, and signposting to relevant policy, procedure, and training. Our overall aim is to support services in developing their understanding of safeguarding and improving the lives of adults with care and support needs in our area.

We would appreciate it if you could complete the following questionnaire, which should take no more than 5 minutes. Your responses will enable us to better understand and support services, including yours.

If you would like any further information, or to speak with a member of our team, please do contact us at safeguardingadultsboard@westsussex.gov.uk.
