Introduction

Part of UK Gov. Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), administered by DfE, Multiply supports the Levelling Up mission to ensure that by 2030, the number of people successfully completing high-quality skills training will have significantly increased in every area of the UK.

Multiply specifically aims to help people improve their ability to understand and use maths in daily life, home, and work. Whether that be improving household finances, helping children with homework, making more sense of the facts in the media, or improving numeracy skills specific to a line of work. Multiply will offer a range of options such as free personal tutoring, digital training and flexible courses that fit around people’s lives and are tailored to specific needs, circumstances, sectors and industries and other innovative solutions for those who are aged 19+ and do not have a level 2 maths qualification."

For more information about 'Multiply: funding available to improve adult numeracy skills', please visit the site and read the guidance.

Subject to DfE approval of our Investment (submitted on 30 June 2022), WSCC will receive funding to deliver Multiply until March 2025. Multiply provision must not duplicate any existing state funded provision such as that currently provided through the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) Adult Education Budget (AEB).

West Sussex County Council is currently accepting bids for the delivery of the Multiply Programme in line with the interventions listed below. Providers who wish to deliver multiple interventions will need to complete an Expression of Interest for each of the interventions.
