As part of the Communities Leadership Development Programme, we are seeking to understand the leadership and management development needs of colleagues on Hay grades across the Directorate.  

Your responses will help the Leadership Working Group:  

  • Understand the leadership and management capabilities that are most important across the Directorate.  
  • Identify areas where additional learning and development support may be beneficial.  
  • Understand career aspirations and future development needs.  
  • Design a leadership and management development programme that reflects the real challenges and opportunities faced by leaders in Communities.  
  • Ensure that future learning opportunities are practical, relevant and tailored to the needs of colleagues.

  • Self-Assessment

    As part of our on-going leadership development programme, the Cohort 1 Working Group has created a self-assessment for managers within Communities. 

    The survey is divided into three sections, exploring:

    • How important each area is to your role and the wider directorate.
    • Your current capability and confidence as a manager.
    • The support and development you need moving forward.

    Please complete all three sections. Your feedback will directly inform the content and focus of the next leadership sessions, ensuring it is tailored to the needs of our managers.
