Draft Joint Local Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2025 - 2030
Introduction
Please tell us what you think about the West Sussex Health and Wellbeing Board's (opens in new window)(External link) draft West Sussex Joint Local Health and Wellbeing Strategy, which sets out the overarching plan for improving health and wellbeing and reducing inequalities across the county.
You can do this by completing our survey below. Everyone in West Sussex, including young people, professionals, and local organisations, is invited to take part and have their say.
The survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
Using the latest evidence, the draft strategy identifies the challenges and needs of people and communities in West Sussex and presents the Board’s vision and five priority areas:
- Food and nutrition
- School readiness
- Transitioning to adulthood – children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing
- Tobacco control
- Health and wellbeing in temporary accommodation
The five priority areas identified reflect some of the wider factors that impact our health, such as our homes and the food we eat. By focusing on them collectively, the Board feel these are the areas they can have the most impact and make a real difference to people’s lives.
How do I complete the survey?
Please view the draft strategy (opens in new window) before you take part in the survey, which is also available in Easy Read (opens in new window).
The survey asks for your comments on each priority area, including your thoughts and suggestions on how they may be delivered. The survey is also available in Easy Read (opens in new window), which you can find below the main survey link.
Residents can also visit their local library where library staff will be able to support them to access the online survey using the library computers, and paper copies of the survey are also available to complete. The survey is also available in a Word and large print version (found under supporting documents), which can be downloaded, printed, and returned to any West Sussex library. Find your local library on our website (opens in new window).
