In the Government’s Spring Budget 2023, West Sussex County Council (WSCC) was allocated £1.87m in capital grant funding to contribute to capital costs associated with projects that increase the supply of early years place and/or wraparound childcare for primary-school aged children. As a Local Authority, WSCC are required to return data to the DfE on all projects that have benefited from capital funding. This survey is a key part of that data return.

West Sussex County Council will use this survey to collect personal data. iProcessing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller.  The data will be processed in accordance the 2018 Data Protection Act, the General Data Protection Regulations, and any related subsequent legislation.

The personal data we collect will not be shared and will not be used for any other purposes than that stated. The data will be held securely on computer for a period of up to 7 years before being appropriately destroyed. West Sussex County Council is registered as Data Controller (Reg. No. Z6413427).
