CPC Professionals feedback 2023-2024

We are conducting a survey to find out about the impact of Advocacy at Child Protection Conferences. Thinking about the role of the Advocate at conference we would like to know what is working well, and also if there are ways the service could be improved.

The Advocacy Service have created this evaluation in order that we can comply with our legal duty to meet the Advocacy National Standard which says that ‘Advocacy listens to the views and ideas of children and young people in order to improve the service provided’ (Department of Health, 2002).

The evaluation will involve the collection of your personal data which will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and any subsequent replacement legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulations.

The personal data we collect will not be shared with anyone outside of West Sussex County Council and will be held securely on a computer for a period of up to 1 year before being appropriately destroyed. Personal data will not be retained for longer than necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are collected. West Sussex County Council is registered as Data Controller (Reg. No. Z6413427).
