Community Engagement Staff Survey
We are seeking your support and input as we begin preparing WSFRS’s first Community Engagement Plan.
This is a new project, being delivered from members of each service across the organisation, to streamline how we engage with the people and organisations in our communities.
Community engagement is a key element of our Community Risk Management Plan, as well as each Service Delivery team’s Local Risk Management Plan (LRMP), but it is delivered differently by different teams in different ways. This Community Engagement Plan will ultimately assist all public-facing, and peer-to-peer, departments in WSFRS improve their community engagement activity by providing a co-ordinated approach to ensure we achieve the best outcomes together.
As we embark upon this new project, we would like to hear from you about the community engagement work that your teams are already delivering. We would love to hear examples of some of the fantastic relationships that you have built within your communities, and the work that you have delivered that you are most proud of.
Equally, we want to hear of things that you would like more support with – that way we can ensure these areas are covered off in our Community Engagement Plan.
Below is a link to a short survey, and we would like to ask you to use this as a discussion point with the people in your teams, before submitting.
If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to reach out to one of us below, or email FRSMedia@westsussex.gov.uk.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
The Community Engagement project team
