WSCC Future Me - Careers Leader's Satisfaction Survey 24/25

Future Me is a programme in West Sussex which provided personalised careers guidance for Year 11 students who were identified as at risk of becoming NEET before they left school. The aim of the project was to target potential NEETs through early intervention by:

  • Raising aspirations and increasing knowledge of local opportunities
  • Ensuring young people were aware of their skills, qualities, and the related careers paths

Future Me was free to schools, offering sustained support to these young people over Year 11 and after they have left school if needed. Year 11 students benefitted from taking away a personalised career summary sheet with clear actions, additional resources, plus follow-up sessions and a link to an impartial careers adviser throughout their transition to post-16 education or training.

Details of the Future Me offer will be provided to schools in September 2025, and we would really like your feedback as Careers Leaders.
