    Is there other support available for families?

    Yes! Across West Sussex County Council, we have lots of information, advice, guidance and support for families. Below is a short list of options, which many more can be found on our website.


    Best Start In Life website offers support, from pregnancy through to childcare and early years education.

     


    Your Space offers information for children and young people on a wide range of topics. This includes information on health, places to go and support available.



    Public Health work with partners to support families on topics such as the Healthy Child Programme, stopping smoking and becoming more active.



    West Sussex Libraries offer digital support, children's activities, homework and study support, a toy library, resources for young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and much more. 



    Family Information Service provide an online directory for families. This includes information about cost of living support, childcare, and activities and youth groups for children and young people.



    Adult Learning Service offer a range of courses for families such as Family Fun Club, Tummy Time, Nature Explorers and more. They also offer courses for adults such as essential digital skills, routes into employment, English for speakers of other languages, and courses for adults with learning disabilities. 



    Adoption, Fostering and Kinship provide information and support for parents and carers.
