  • All about SEND

    The purpose of this questionnaire is to help the Designated Social Care Officer (DSCO), understand the Social Care work force knowledge around Special Education, Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Education, Health and Care Plan’s (EHCP).  This will then help, plan and set up targeted support/training for staff that need it.   The DSCO role is a  relatively new national role and is new to West Sussex, a key focus is to develop social care elements of the SEND strategy across the local authority, in compliance with legislative requirements of the SEND Code of Practice (2015).
