This skills survey has been designed to help you and your line managers identify which of the 'opt-in' modules from the programme you should attend. It will also be used to help measure impact/success, when the activity is repeated at the end of the programme.
There are 4 steps to this process:
Step 1. Complete the survey that can be found at the bottom of this page. You should meet with your line manager to complete this activity, discussing and agreeing your current level of skills, knowledge and ability to successfully deal with challenges for each of the topics.
Step 2.Agree with your line manager which of the 'opt-in' modules you would benefit from attending.
Step 4. Agree a personal objective with your manager that you will work on throughout the programme. This should ideally be based on a current situation, result or metric within the team that would benefit from improvement, and that links with the programme content. You should record this in your Performance & Development (PDR) paperwork, for tracking.
Once everyone has responded and the demand for each optional module is known, individuals will be invited to select from a set of date options (and venue options, for in-person elements) to attend. If you have any questions, please contact organisational.development@westsussex.gov.uk.
